Yamaha R15

The Yamaha YZF-R15 is a motorbike designed by India Yamaha Motor for the Indian and Colombian markets. R15 was launched on June 12, 2008.

• The YZF-R15 is characterized by a hybrid design that combines the world-class design of the “R” series with localized functions. The R15 was created to lead the supersport category in India.
• Yamaha R15 is the first bike in India which has complete sports look and presenting a high level balance of enjoyable running performance in the 150cc bike segment.The bike has got so much popularity in Indian market.
• Yamaha India is Planning to launch the New R15 in May 2011 which will get some new features plus minor face-lift.The new R15 may be having higher price tag than its existing version.There is no changes in the engine but it may be refined with new fuel efficient technology thus more fuel economical than older one.

• The Yamaha R15 comes with 1 150cc Liquid Cooled , 4Stroke, Single Cylinder, 4-Valve Engine. the bike is equipped with forged aluminium pistons in the engine,6-speed gear box and Acceleration (0-60 kmph) 3sec.
